Located on the water in Baltimore City, forging a link between historic Fells Point and Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, you’ll find Harbor East, a neighborhood where upscale hotels, high-end stores, and boutique residences have replaced the former industrial waterfront. Encompassing 12 city blocks, this mixed-use waterfront neighborhood blends principles of new urbanism with design elements reminiscent of its working “waterfront past.” Brought to life with the lively streetscape, unparalleled harbor views, and robust dining and entertainment anchors, Harbor East is a model for waterfront development not only for Baltimore, but for many northeast corridor cities.

Waterfront promenades spill into a pedestrian-friendly, tree-lined streetscape featuring brick paving and cast-iron lamp posts. The Promenade is left open to the public, and runs the water's edge, while the anchor plaza with the Katyn Memorial, a 44-foot-tall bronze sculpture honoring fallen World War II Polish army officers, provides a respite from the fast-paced environment. The development includes several restaurants and dining options, a Whole Foods, and a subterranean 1,200-seat, stadium-seating art cinema screening independent films and big-box movies.

Harbor East's coordinated urban planning and integrated design represents a fresh approach to community development in Baltimore, with almost three million sf of office and retail space, two Marriott hotels, over 990 residential units, and extensive streetside and structured parking.

Combining the warmth, charm, and ambiance of the city's traditional neighborhoods with the sophisticated planning and intricate detail, Harbor East is emblematic of the evolving, coordinated, and interconnected Baltimore cityscape.
