Serdar Karadag is Director of Business Development (International) at BCT Design Group, based in Istanbul, Turkey with a primary focus on EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) and CIS markets.

Serdar joined BCT Design Group in 2013. With more than 25 years of experience in the real estate development industry managing the development of many small to large scale mixed-use, retail and residential projects, he speaks the language of development companies and understands their priorities.

For him, visiting and establishing strong connections in different and diverse parts of the world is an opportunity to rise to the unique challenges in bringing the BCT Design Group team and design solutions together with the local culture and business characteristics.

He is a strong proponent of human-centered design and believes that great design combined with adaptability is key to creating resilient new trends as well as landmark projects in our rapidly changing world.

Serdar received his Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the Istanbul Technical University and studied at Marmara University Business School. He is a co-founder of Sustainable Urban Development Platform, an NGO that works with local governments towards creating regenerative urban and rural settlements.
