Rajesh Gulati is the Director of International Planning at BCT Design Group and currently serves as Director of Planning. His understanding of the organic quality of a space and how cities, towns, villages, and communities evolve over time has helped him to create groundbreaking retail, residential, mixed-use, and urban design projects that capture a definitive sense of connection, becoming genuinely memorable destinations.

He joined Development Design Group (DDG) in 1992 after 4 years at CallisonRTKL, which led him to BCT through DDG's eventual merger with BCT in 2016. He brings over 30 years of experience to BCT's projects both in the U.S. and around the world.

Rajesh graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture in 1985 in New Delhi, India, and earned his Master of Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Texas in Austin, studying under renowned American architect Charles Moore. Moore’s architectural field trips exposed Rajesh to places and designs that still resonate through his work; his influences range from the dusty grandeur of Mexican cities and architectural landmarks, to the historic towns of India, to small communities across the American Southwest.
