Greg Smith is a licensed Architect with a strong background in commercial retail projects and joined BCT in 2021. Greg brings more than 15 years of extensive experience in working with owners and developers on a variety of retail projects, retail shopping centers, and national retail tenants that meet the clients expectations.

As a Project Manager, Greg’s oversees a crucial role in the management of the Commercial Studios project’s delivery throughout all the phases of development, including Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Administration. Throughout those phases, he oversees managing the client expectations, preparing project schedules, overrseeing project teams, developing Construction Documents, coordinating with project consultants, detailing and evaluating the design and material selections, preparing project specifications, and ensuring building code compliance. Greg is an active participant in the projects final Construction Administration phase, oversees the submittal and RFI responses, and works closely with clients and contractors to ensure a projects sucessful completion.

In addition to Greg’s overall 15 years of commercial retail expereince, his 21 years of overall experience includes many different project types such as award winning large scale shopping centers, ground up retail shell buildings, extensive exterior and interior renovations, tenant interior turn-key fit outs, white box spaces, mixed use developments, and senior residential housing.

Greg is a licensed Architect in the State of Marylad, LEED Green Associate, and a member of NCARB.
